Located near downtown Atlanta, GA, USA, Steve Carey Music Productions makes music for a wide variety of clients including Delta Airlines, IBM, Apple Computer, Rich's, Laser Designs, Rio Bravo Restaurants, Inc., and many more. Steve Carey has been a top Atlanta musician for many years, and in 1984 was nominated for the Grammy award as best keyboardist. Steve Carey's career as an entertainer began in his early teens when he joined his first band, playing piano, organ and singing. Steve's influences come from his hometown of Helena, Arkansas, an area that bore many of the legends of blues and soul music. At sixteen, Steve cut his first album and toured with several top road groups before settling in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1981 he recorded and produced his first internationally released album with his band "MPG". As a result of strong sales and recognition the album received, Steve found himself touring with such groups as The Police, Aerosmith, and Hall & Oates. In 1984, he became involved in record production and built a recording studio in Atlanta, "SCarey Productions", using his talent and experience to help other artists express their ideas and to capture their best performances. During this time he produced several albums and CD's, as well as recordings for television and video. Steve now is a solo performer, specializing in the music of the sixties and seventies; however, his flair for performing practically any genre of music astounds all those who see and hear this soulful entertainer.
